Louvre Wrap (English)

Louvre Wrap (English)

The Louvre Wrap is a rectangular shawl wide and long enough to wrap yourself in.
Worked flat, it is knitted using the i-cord cast-on method and both edges use an i-cord to be finished off with the i-cord bind-off.
Even if the wrap looks like a colorwork, you will always use one color at a time by using short rows to color shape the shawl pattern.
The Louvre Wrap could be knitted with a cotton blend yarn (as the sample) for a chilly summer night or in a woolen yarn for a cozy winter night.

One size.

24 stitches x 34 rows = 10x10 cm / 4x4” over Stockinette stitch, worked flat on 4 mm / US 6 needles after blocking.

4 mm / US 6 circular needles, with a cable length of 80-100cm / 32-40”.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
